It’s worth noting that different cemeteries and churchyards often have different rules and regulations, regarding shapes, sizes, materials and finishes. The maximum height of a memorial allowed within Perth & Kinross Council cemeteries is 4ft. 

There are many different colours and designs available, Granite is very hard and durable and is easy to maintain. The slightly softer white marble lends itself to more intricate designs and allows delicate carvings, however it will weather over time and need regular cleaning and maintenance.
